“Hey y'all! My name is Sidnei Aguilar and I am from Commerce, Georgia. I grew up on the outskirts of Athens, so football has always been a big part of my life. I am an Early Childhood Education major and hope to coach cheerleading along with teaching once I graduate. I love kiddos and try to stay involved with children as much as I can. Coming from my town, everyone around me wanted me to go to UGA. However, throughout high school I realized God had bigger plans for me. I was introduced to the Clemson's Cheerleading Program through a lifelong coach of mine. I fell in love with the program and everyone involved. Cheerleading has been so important to me since I was little and I was beyond excited when I got the email saying that I would be able to continue my passion at Clemson. Outside of cheer, I am such a bookworm and love staying on top of my schoolwork and trying my best to perform well in the classroom. I am a big planner and love to stay organized and help others plan or stay organized! I have been working super hard lately to stay busy and have found a love for working out and staying active in whatever way I can. I am so excited to get to be back on campus soon to see all of my fellow tigers smiling faces. Lastly, I cannot express my excitement to start this new journey in ADPi and to have the opportunity to make lifelong friendships within this chapter!” - Sidnei Aguilar, AC ‘20

My parents are both Clemson alumni so I have grown up going to all of the football games to cheer on our tigers. When I was deciding on where to go to college, the choice was so clear. No place feels as much like home as Clemson does. I love Jesus and meeting new people. You can always find me looking for a new hike or enjoying a cup of coffee. Now that we are back on campus, I am so excited to go to FCA and meet all of my new sisters. I already love being part of a community of women who I know will love me and push me to achieve more. Forever thankful to have gone ADPi! Go Tigers!”- Anna Ervin, AC ‘20

“Hey there! My name is Hadley James and I am from Charleston, SC. I am sooo excited to be here at Clemson! I’m majoring in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. I chose this school because Clemson has a really good program for this major! My sister goes here, which definitely made the decision 10x easier. Some things that I love are music, animals (hence the major), the beach, and boat days. Over the summer, you can usually find me on the beach with friends listening to country music! I love going out with my friends, but movie nights or chill nights are always fun too! I cannot wait to get on campus and meet everyone in person!” - Hadley James, AC ‘20

“Hi! My name is Claire Ashburn, and I am from Greenville, SC! I am majoring in Biological Sciences with the hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist. My reason for choosing to come to Clemson has everything to do with its amazing academics, beautiful campus, the people, the sports, and so much more. Some things about me are that I love being active, whether that is working out, running, going on hikes, traveling, or basically anything outdoors. My top two favorite places that I have traveled to are the Hawaiian Islands and Iceland. I also love playing music! I play the piano, guitar, and I also played the french horn for six years. Two of my favorite artists/bands are Khalid and Mt. Joy. There are many reasons why I am excited about returning back to campus, and some of those include finally being able to meet my roommate (she lives in Illinois), forming new friendships, getting involved on campus, and meeting my ADPi sisters in person!! I am beyond excited to be in ADPi!”- Claire Ashburn, AC ‘20

Amelia Harless

Amelia Harless, AC ‘20

Amelia Harless, AC ‘20

“Hey y’all! My name is Amelia Harless. I’m from the small town of Hartsville, SC and I am attending Clemson University as a Biological Sciences major. I have grown up being a part of the Clemson Family my entire life. My family lives for Clemson football and I have been attending almost every home game since I was 10 months old! I chose Clemson University not only because it is my second home, but because of the outstanding qualities it obtains in academics, athletics, clubs and organizations, and the students that make up the campus. Recently, I joined the ADPi family (best decision ever), and the past few weeks have been nothing short of amazing and it makes me fall in love with Clemson all over again. Prior to recruitment, I was definitely nervous about the experience as a whole but the girls in ADPi left me feeling so excited and so loved after each round. I’m so excited to continue to meet so many new faces as I finally move onto campus! I love spending time with my family and friends, especially my sister, Ally. Our favorite pastime is making tik toks together (that aren’t very good but SO fun). I also love going to the beach, staying active physically and spiritually in my faith, as well as going on spontaneous road trips/car rides with country music or a 2000’s throwback playlist on the aux. I cannot wait to finally meet everyone in person and to finally experience Clemson University as a student and sister in Alpha Delta Pi!”- Amelia Harless, AC ‘20

Peyton Smith

Peyton Smith, AC ‘20

Peyton Smith, AC ‘20

“Hey y’all!! My name is Peyton Smith and I am an incoming freshman from Charleston, South Carolina and an Environmental Engineering major! I am so excited to get to know all of you!! I chose Clemson because it was the only school where I automatically felt welcome but at the same time challenged. Also, my faith is a massive part of my life and played one of the leading roles in choosing Clemson. I haven’t even lived on campus yet or met any of your beautiful faces, but I have already been surrounded by God’s love and presence from our zoom calls and chats!! If that’s not a clue of why Clemson is the BEST school and ADPi is the BEST sorority, I don’t know what is. I am most excited to meet everyone and get to go on coffee dates and drive-in FCAs. I am praying that we can return to campus safely and that we can be together soon! Go ADPi!! BOOM BOOM” - Peyton Smith, AC ‘20

Hey PNMs! Why ADPi #10!

Anna Rhett’s Spotlight + Why ADPi ⟡

“Alpha Delta Pi has been the BIGGEST blessing I have experienced in college.”

Anna Rhett Allen, AC ‘18

Anna Rhett Allen, AC ‘18

Anna Rhett Allen - Alpha Class ‘18

“Hello PNMs my name is Anna Rhett Allen and I am a Junior Elementary Education major from Charleston, SC. I am so fortunate to serve as this year's Vice President of Marketing for Zeta Nu and I cannot believe that Recruitment starts this week!! I am truly so excited for all of you to go through the Recruitment process. Although it might look different than any other year, we cannot wait to meet you and are so excited to share with you what makes our chapter so special!

Why ADPi… this is something that I feel like I could go on for absolutely hours about because there are so many incredible things that I love about ADPi. Everytime I went into Alpha Delta Pi’s rounds during Recruitment, I could truly feel the love that every member had for each other. Not only was every member that I talked to very confident, outgoing, and engaged in each conversation, but also made me feel so comfortable and confident. I felt accepted for who I was, allowing me to be authentically myself and confident when talking to a sister of ADPi. Every member that I talked to made me feel so welcomed and were genuinely interested in what I had to say. Now fast forwarding to current time I know ADPi was the best decision ever because every member has been just as loving and supportive during all the changes to this year's Recruitment process.

Alpha Delta Pi has been the BIGGEST blessing I have experienced in college. It is a place where every girl pushes you to be the best version of yourself that you can be. Without the girls in Alpha Delta Pi and their constant encouragement, I would not have joined other organizations on campus as well as would not have been able to plan Recruitment. This year’s events haven’t gone as planned, but the members of Alpha Delta Pi are always encouraging me to keep up the hard work and remain passionate about my goals! If it was not for the incredible members of Alpha Delta Pi, I would not have been able to hold this position.

Not only have I found sisters who will encourage me for the rest of my life, but also sisters who are my ABSOLUTE best friends in ADPi. I know for a fact we will still be friends 20 years from now.

Whether it’s talking football with Mary Crosby, Bachelor nights on the hall with Chandler, taking time cam photos with Marywhit, closing down the dance floor with Elizabeth, eating constant sweets with Hannah, working out with Abby, or never going a day without talking (literally) with Georgia, these special moments remind me how incredibly thankful I am to have found true sisters in ADPi. These girls have truly made my time in Alpha Delta Pi something special, and I know these relationships will follow me throughout the rest of my life.

In Alpha Delta Pi you will find the girls who encourage you to strive to be the best version of yourself, as well as pick you up when you are down. You will find lifelong friends that make being apart for the summer SO incredibly hard. With all of this being said, I cannot imagine my college experience without Alpha Delta Pi. I am extremely sad to be halfway done with college and my time here with these girls on campus, but I know that these friendships will follow me outside of my four years spent at Clemson. I will forever be thankful for Alpha Delta Pi and the encouragement, sisterhood, leadership, and loyalty it has brought into my life.
I cannot wait to start Recruitment and to show all 1289 of you why Alpha Delta Pi is so great and truly unique in its own way!” - Anna Rhett Allen, AC ‘18

P N M F A Qs!

Tips for the PNM Video?

In the PNM videos, it is important that we get to know YOU!!! We want to know your name, where you are from, what you were involved in during your time before Clemson and what you are looking forward to getting involved in once on campus, as well as why you are interested in joining a Panhellenic sorority!! We can’t wait to see a little bit of who you are through these videos.

What is the Best Piece of Advice for Participating in Recruitment?

There are a million different pieces of advice, but the two best pieces of advice for recruitment, as cheesy as it sounds, is to trust your gut and trust the process. If you have a certain feeling about a particular sorority during the Recruitment process then trust that feeling! Every Panhellenic sorority is different and amazing in our own way, so it is important that you find where you fit in best! Sorority recruitment really does work, you just have to believe in the process. It can be exhausting and cause a lot of late nights, but if you believe that you will end up where you should be then it will work out in the end!

How can we Show our Personality on Zoom?

The way you can show your personality on Zoom is to be extremely confident in yourself so that way you can easily carry on a conversation in every Round! It is important to show your personality by talking about what YOU are passionate about and express your interests in what you want your future sisterhood to look like.  Also it is important to have expressive body language and make sure you have a polished look! All of these things will allow you to feel confident in yourself and show who you are to the best of your ability!

Is it Different to go Through Recruitment as a Sophomore?

It is not at all different to participate in Recruitment as a sophomore! Going through as a sophomore is the exact same thing as going through as a freshman, except in rounds you can already meet girls your own age! There are many sophomores that participate in Recruitment at Clemson!

How Many PNMs and Chapter Members will be in Each Zoom Party?

A max of 49 PNMs will be in each Zoom party, while for chapter members it will vary by each chapter!

Hey PNMs! Why ADPi #9!

SaraAnna’s Spotlight + Why ADPi ⟡

“This chapter has given me great insight on what it takes to be a successful woman, along with great role models to look up to.”

SaraAnna Goff, AC ‘19

SaraAnna Goff, AC ‘19

SaraAnna Goff - Alpha Class ‘19

“Hey PNMs!!! My name is SaraAnna Goff and I am a Junior Early Childhood Education Major. I am from the small town of Hartsville, SC. I am so excited that you chose to go through the recruitment process this year! It is a great experience and you’ll love every second of it! Growing up, my dad’s family were die hard South Carolina fans and my mom’s family were die hard Clemson fans, so I grew up switching off football games on the weekends! Senior year of high school arrived, and I chose to apply to my most favorite school, CLEMSON, and I would not have it any other way. Clemson has stolen my heart and I still get chills when I drive over the tiger paws on the road! My experience here has been nothing but great, and I cannot wait for you to start creating yours!

I was very intimidated going through the recruitment process. I am the oldest in my family, so I did not have an older sister or cousin to guide me through the process, and my mom did not join a sorority in college. After the first two days of rounds, I instantly knew where I wanted to call home. ADPi was the one chapter that made me feel most comfortable. I was able to be myself. I had great conversations with the girls, and each conversation felt so natural. I chose ADPi because every girl that I talked to was genuine and sweet. During rounds, girls went above and beyond to ensure that I felt wanted and special. I was able to let go of all of my stress and simply talk to girls during each round. Members that I knew walked by me and gave me a smile, which made me feel welcomed. Growing up, I have always looked up to the older girls in my town that I danced with who chose ADPi as their sisterhood at Clemson and I have always dreamed that someday I would be just like them. When I opened my Bid Day invitation, I immediately cried. Ever since that day, I have made memories of a lifetime.

ADPi has given me the best memories! I have enjoyed dancing the night away with my sisters at functions and mixers, cheering the Tigers on from the sidelines, and traveling with them during spring break. ADPi has pushed me to become a better person and a better leader. Zeta Nu has allowed me to raise the bar high academically, socially, and physically. This chapter has given me great insight on what it takes to be a successful woman, along with great role models to look up to.

The Alpha Delta Pi sisterhood embodies an amazing group of women that I am so proud to be a part of!

With that being said, my “Why ADPi'' answer is, when we say “We Live for Each Other,” we really mean it as we strive to make each other the best version of ourselves each and every day! I hope each and every one of you enjoy recruitment just as much as I did. I hope you even meet some besties along the way, like I did! Class of 2024, we are so excited to meet you! Get excited and have fun because some of your greatest Clemson memories are just now beginning!” - SaraAnna Goff, AC ‘19

Hey PNMs! Why ADPi #8!

Nan’s Spotlight + Why ADPi

“…it was here that I felt I would be able to stay grounded in who I was while also being encouraged to become something better.”

Nan Spacek, AC ‘17

Nan Spacek, AC ‘17

Nan Spacek - Alpha Class ‘17

“Hi PNMs!! My name is Nan Spacek and I am a senior nursing major from Columbia, SC. Like so many of you, when I started college, I was met with a fresh slate and was so excited about it! It was all about figuring out who I was and making decisions about who I wanted to become. I was originally very apprehensive about the entire recruitment process. I have an older sister who was already at Clemson, had gone ADPi, and loved it! My sister is my absolute best friend but we are very different people so naturally, I was concerned that ADPi wouldn't be the best fit for me. Honestly, I think my biggest fear starting recruitment was that I wouldn't end up being a good fit anywhere. However, as I went through rounds I discovered that I loved a lot of different chapters. I could see so many different versions of myself as I tried to imagine what my next 4 years at Clemson would be like. What I realized sitting in my preference round for ADPi was that I didn't have to be any other version of myself here. I felt like I fit, just as I was! I looked around and saw a room full of amazing women, including my older sister, who were all incredibly different from each other. I could see that despite their differences they really loved and encouraged one another. It wasn't that there was no room for me to grow or be challenged, quite the opposite actually, but it was here that I felt I would be able to stay grounded in who I was while also being encouraged to become something better. I followed that feeling straight to bid day and after 3.5 years in ADPi, I can confidently say I was not disappointed in my decision.

I have been challenged in love by so many of my sisters to become the best person I can be. I have made the best friendships and have had more fun than I could have ever imagined.

Between dining hall dates, late-night Wendy's, ALL the functions, weekend trips, and game days, I know I have memories that I will keep for a lifetime. As my time at Clemson is coming to an end I can reflect on my time here, I realize just how big of a blessing ADPi has been to me. So, why ADPi? I know that my four years at Clemson University will always hold a special place in my heart, but I know that they were forever changed by having such an amazing group of girls cheering me on every step of the way. That is truly my wish for every single one of you, that you find a group of girls to be your biggest cheerleaders and always encourage you to stay true to yourself. We are BEYOND excited to meet you Class of 2024!!” - Nan Spacek, AC ‘17
