“Hey PNMs, I can't wait to meet you!!! I know recruitment can be stressful, trust me I was there not too long ago, but you really do just have to trust the process. I’d be lying if I told you recruitment wasn’t nerve-racking for me. My mom wasn’t in a sorority in college and I had no idea what to expect. Recruitment was such a draining process for me, but every time I went to Alpha Delta Pi during rounds, I felt so welcomed and so comfortable. I could tell that all the girls I talked to were so genuine and I felt like they really wanted to get to know me. I had so many real and meaningful conversations, they weren’t just surface level. I also noticed that all of the girls I talked to were so driven, motivated, and well-rounded and those were the type of girls I knew I wanted to surround myself with. During sisterhood round, I knew I wanted to go ADPi. I can remember getting chills hearing all the girls talk about their sisterhood and the lifelong friendships they made. The love they had for each other and their chapter was so evident and I wanted so badly to be a part of it. I made the best decision of my life by choosing ADPi. I had the best freshman year getting to know all the girls in my Alpha Class. I love that there is such a diverse mix of girls in ADPi so we keep each other balanced but we all share the same morals.

When I think of ADPi, I think of the words intentional, genuine, accepting, and well-rounded. The friendships I’ve made through joining this sorority are so intentional. No matter what close friend group you’re in, all the girls in ADPi are so accepting of one another and I love how everyone builds each other up.

Alpha Delta Pi has truly given me a school year I will cherish forever. One of my favorite memories from this year was formal. It was our last function together before we had to leave Clemson because of COVID-19 and I can honestly say I danced my heart out. Another one of my favorite memories is Mom’s Weekend. It is so much fun to spend a weekend hanging out with your mom and getting to meet all your besties’ moms.

Being in ADPi really helped me get through my freshman year. Going to college is a huge adjustment and I can remember feeling so overwhelmed and stressed. ADPi was the one thing that remained constant, I knew my girls were always there for me. There were so many resources that helped me get through my freshman year. I remember one time when I was having a rough day, I just so happened to be chosen to be posted on the ADPi Instagram for “Thankful Thursday,” which is a post where you comment a reason why you're thankful for that person. Reading through the comments made my day so much better and just goes to show how in ADPi we build each other up. I couldn't be more thankful for all the amazing memories and friendships I’ve made this year in ADPI and am so excited for the next three years to come… hope to see you there!”- Abby Beitel, AC ‘19

Anna Keistler

“After I graduate with my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, I will be staying at Clemson for one more year to pursue my Master’s in teaching. I’ve loved my past four years as a Clemson student so much that I can’t imagine doing it any other way! I will be moving to Greenville and working with a veteran teacher at Taylor’s Elementary School, where I’ll be co-teaching a 5th grade class, working with and learning from this teacher. As I am learning with and teaching my fifth graders, I will be taking graduate classes. In May, I will graduate with my Master’s degree and teaching certificate to pursue my dream of teaching, in the hopes of eventually becoming an administrator. My past years at Clemson have been greater than I can imagine. While I am sad to finish my undergraduate years, I know that the next few years will be equally as great (if not even better). As always, go tigers and go ADPi!”

Josie Phillips

“I am currently studying for the GRE and after graduation I plan on applying for and attending graduate school. The University of Georgia is my choice of school for a Masters in Communication with an emphasis area in Public Relations. My goal is to broaden my opportunities and to one day work for an NFL or college football team.”

Abby Brownell

“Last spring, I was accepted into Clemson’s Teacher Residency Program in the College of Education, which means that I will be continuing my education to receive a Master of Arts Teaching Degree in Elementary Education. Next year, I will be student teaching in a 3rd grade classroom at Spearman Elementary and then graduating with a Master’s Degree in May of 2021. Clemson’s Teacher Residency Program is really unique, because it provides me with a year-long student teaching experience while earning a Master’s Degree in just one year. I am so blessed to have been given the opportunity to expand my skills and knowledge of teaching and cannot wait to take the next step in working towards having my own classroom in the future!”

Mairin Noonan

“My plans after graduation have changed drastically since the start of the coronavirus pandemic! I previously accepted a social media marketing position for a real estate company in Charleston, South Carolina. With my newfound free time at home, I did some soul searching and came to the realization that I want to make a difference and I want to do something bigger with my life. I began looking into law school and studying for the LSAT. I found that I enjoy analyzing arguments and have a knack for finding flaws in logical reasoning. I now plan to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law. I hope to eventually pursue a career in either environmental law or sports and entertainment law. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and I am so excited to start this new chapter of life! In this season of uncertainty, I am certain I have found my path.”

Savannah Shope

“I will be graduating from Clemson in May and continuing on to attend Clemson’s Accelerated Nursing Program in the fall, with the hopes of one day becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. My heart is overwhelmed with JOY when I think of all that Clemson and ADPi have meant to me over the past few years. I have gotten to be apart of something greater than myself and serve alongside women who have encouraged me and loyally supported me along the way. I am thankful for all that this sisterhood and this school means to me! Graduating is a bittersweet feeling, but I know that the best truly is yet to come!”

Abby Palmquist

“Throughout my four years at Clemson University, I studied Food Science and Human Nutrition in pursuit of becoming a dietitian. In April, I was matched with my first choice dietetic internship specializing in Clinical Nutrition through Morrison Healthcare. I will be based out of Atlanta, but will be completing the majority of my rotations in Greenville, SC. Upon completing this internship, I will specialize in Pediatric Oncology Nutrition, and will officially become a Registered Dietitian! This has been a goal of mine for so long, and as surreal it is to think that my chapter at Clemson is coming to a close, I couldn’t be more excited for this next phase of my life!”

Sarah Reynolds

“I will be graduating from Clemson University with my B.S. in Political Science, as well as my B.A. in Communication in May. I will then be moving to Tallahassee, FL in August to attend Florida State University College of Law! Rather than pursuing the traditional three-year law school track, I will be attending FSU for four years to earn my J.D., as well as my Masters in Urban and Regional Planning! I am pursuing both of these degrees in hopes to one day be the legal brain behind infrastructure planning and development in urban areas. South Carolina is my home state, therefore I have never lived elsewhere. I am so excited for a new place with new opportunities and people! Although I am so excited for this new journey, Clemson will always hold a huge place in my heart.”

Shining Sisters Week Fourteen

“Living in Barnett Hall with all my sisters this year has been the biggest blessing, and I am so sad our time was cut short. E-learning was difficult for me at first. I am a Pre-med major and I was really worried about doing my classes online, because a lot of them are so hands on. Thankfully all my professors have been so amazing and helpful. My organic chemistry professor receives at least one email a day from me with questions! But through this crazy time I am learning to find joy and thankfulness for all the little things in life while being stuck at home. I've made my backyard into a nice tanning area, so I can tan and study at the same time- it's the little things! I tried to get creative with cooking; whipped coffee was not a success, but chocolate covered strawberries were. I've been reading a lot when I'm not studying. I recommend "Is Everyone Hanging Out WIthout Me" by Mindy Kaling! I'm trying to use this quarantine to spend less time on social media and Netflix and instead soaking up this extra time with my family. Social distancing has taught me to never take a hug or coffee dates with a friend for granted! I cannot wait to get back to Clemson and hug my sisters and get some All In coffee! Until then, Zoom calls will have to do.

One thing I really miss about Clemson is getting to share my hobby with others- teaching fitness classes! This year has pushed me out of my comfort zone in so many ways, and becoming a fitness instructor is one of them. Exercise and health has always been my passion, and I am so thankful I get to teach HIIT classes! Waking up at 5 AM to go teach isn't always fun, but once I get there and get to see people work hard and improve it makes it all worth it. I love teaching HIIT because it's so challenging, it pushes you beyond your limits. It's amazing to me what our bodies can do! During this time at home, I have loved getting to be more creative with my exercise- from HIIT to boxing to yoga! Our health and wellness is something to be thankful for everyday and I encourage everyone to get active today!

One of my favorite Clemson memories is moving onto the hall. I've been able to get to know girls I didn't really know before, and get even closer to ones I did know. I spend so much time studying, but thankfully the hall has given me friends that know when to pull me away from the books. Every moment on the hall consists of fun and sweet times with good people. And I have the best neighbors ever! The hall has surrounded me with people who push me out of my comfort zone and make me the best version of myself. Bachelor Mondays on the hall and getting ready for game days together will be missed.

Joining ADPi has shaped my Clemson career in so many ways. Coming to Clemson, I really wasn't sure about joining a sorority because none of my family or close friends had been a part of one. Looking back, I am so thankful I joined ADPi. College was such a hard transition for me, and I was beyond homesick. ADPi made Clemson feel a little more like home. ADPi just keeps giving me more and more. I have the most amazing friends, the best family (shoutout to Lauren, Abigail, and Adeline), and so many opportunities. Savannah Skidmore

AC ‘18

“Hi everyone! My name is Savannah Skidmore and I am a Junior Health Sciences major at Clemson University. I am from the beautiful Greenville, SC. I love living in the South where the winters are short and the summers are long. I knew I wanted to come to Clemson ever since I was a little girl. My Dad is a die-hard football fan, and I grew up knowing that there was no other place for me. Touring Clemson and the Science departments sealed the deal. I am a member of the Calhoun Honors College and met one of my best friends/roommate living in the Honors dorm freshman year. We still live together.

I am the President of the Clemson Debate team and love every second of it. We travel domestically and internationally to compete against the most prestigious schools in the world. We have travelled to Slovenia, Hungary, France, South Africa, Italy and Ireland. I most recently spent this past Christmas break in Thailand and Cambodia. I enjoyed every second of taking in the beautiful architecture and style of the East. Instead of studying abroad, I have gotten to travel at least once a month since joining the team my freshman year. I have encountered all different kinds of culture and learned just how much there is left to experience in this beautiful world. Debate is about learning how to better communicate with people of all backgrounds and opinions. I have learned that the art of communication involves a lot more listening than speaking.

After graduation, I am planning to attend medical school. I am passionate about medicine and serving my community. During the COVID-19 crisis, I am volunteering at Prisma Health in the drive through testing efforts. I could not sit back and do nothing knowing I had the skills and clearance to help my community. I look up to all the healthcare providers that are risking their lives for us everyday and aspire to be as selfless as they are as a future physician. I also participate in surgical research at Prisma Health. We are currently studying post-operative infection rates in patients that had an open abdomen surgery. I have loved working under the incredible surgeons at Prisma and have learned many skills I hope to take into my own practice. Surgery is exciting and there is something new everyday.

Clemson has been my home ever since the first time I stepped on campus. No matter how busy I am with school or clubs, I can always be found in Death Valley on Saturdays in the fall or out in the lake in the spring. Being an ADPi has given me a sense of belonging and sisterhood that makes the Clemson experience that much better. I love going to functions and out to eat with my sisters whenever I can. I hope that wherever I end up in this world, I always make time to come back to Clemson every chance I get!” -Savannah Skidmore, AC ‘18

Alyssa Augello

“When I decided I wanted to transfer schools I wanted to make sure that wherever I went, it had ADPi. I also wanted a school that was further from home, had nicer weather than New York, had an exciting football atmosphere and a great education program. Clemson fell into my hands in my research, and when I went to visit with my Dad and brother, I fell in love. I immediately “got that feeling” and just knew this is where I belonged. The moment I got my acceptance I was in Target and screamed so loud and jumped for joy. I have never been happier. Clemson has provided me with an amazing football experience (go Tigers always), warm weather, and the most challenging and rewarding education program. Transferring here has been one of the best decisions I have ever made, as well as affiliating with the Zeta Nu chapter here at Clemson!

Clemson Miracle was the organization that has made me feel at home in Clemson. The first year I transferred, I was quite lonely and didn’t have many friends. I found it really hard to connect with some people and felt more homesick than ever. I participated in Dance Marathon my sophomore year and was starstruck. I stayed the full 12 hours and had the time of my life. I found out there was a morale team and looked at my friend and said, “I want to do that next year, I want to be them.” So, the next year (this year), I filled out the application and got selected to be on the morale team! I then filled out another application and went on an interview to be a morale captain. This organization has brought me so many friends, so much happiness, and a purpose. I LOVE Clemson Miracle with all of my heart and am so thankful for the opportunities that I have had so far. I cannot wait to see what next year brings me in this organization.

My favorite Clemson memory this far would have to be our fall Clemson Miracle morale retreat on October 5th, 2019 (my birthday)! The entire morale team got together and we played a fundraising game and got randomly paired with another “moraler” and created funny Tik Toks to raise money. After, a miracle kid and his family came in to talk about their experience! Then, we went to Brinkley’s Buddy Walk at NewSpring Church. After, we had a dance party with the miracle families! After the buddy walk, we went back to Hendrix to have a lip-sync battle. My team and I created a dance to Tik Tok by Ke$ha and had so much fun doing so. We then all talked in a group, bonded, and shared our “whys.” I have met so many amazing people from this retreat and am looking forward to another one next year!

Both ADPi and Clemson Miracle have impacted my Clemson experience tremendously. ADPi brought me four of my closest friends who have made me feel less homesick at Clemson. ADPi has also provided me with built-in sisters, since I only have two brothers. ADPi has pushed me to thrive in my academic career and push myself to be the best I can be. Clemson Miracle has done so much for me that it’s hard to put in words. It makes me happy every day knowing that I am helping kids like my brother. Being involved in this organization has opened so many opportunities for me and has genuinely made me feel like I am making such a big difference for all of our miracle kids in Prisma Health. “My go-to throwback jam has to be Lucky Strike by Maroon 5. Growing up, my main sport was bowling. It came natural to me, and I loved it so much that I bowled six days a week all throughout my middle and high school career. Valentine’s Cocktail ~ Beaus + Arrows

Zeta Nu’s first function back from winter break was Beaus + Arrows, our Valentines function! This Valentine’s cocktail was hosted with Tri Delta at 356 Sushi Bar in downtown Clemson. Our galentines danced the night away with their beaus and babes.

Mom’s Weekend

Our first Mom’s Weekend was a success! Zeta Nu sisters were able to spend quality time with the women they love and were able to share the love for their mother’s with everyone else!

“Planning Mom’s Weekend has definitely been the most rewarding experience I’ve had as VP of Event Management! The Mom’s Cocktail on Friday night was held at the South Carolina Botanical Gardens and included a live band, a huge chalkboard with spaces to write things we love about our moms, and a photo display of our sisters and their moms with sweet messages written on the back!

We also had a Clemson Baseball Tailgate in the Oculus Parking lot Saturday morning, where moms and daughters spent the morning together before having the afternoon free for other activities.

There was a painting class in the bottom of Barnett Hall after the brunch for Moms and daughters to paint Tigers together! The painting was a hit with incredible teaching done by our sisters and the moms had a great time seeing the hall and meeting each other.” - Hannah Laura Jordan, AC ‘18

Zeta Nu Formal 2020

One of the best nights of our spring semester happened on Friday, March 6th and our sisters looked absolutely amazing! This year, our Formal was held at Occasions At Wedgefield. The DJ and catered snacks were all the rave between our sisters! A night with music, food, and Zeta Nu’s finest is always an unforgettable time!

Spring Break

Many of our sister’s experienced a summer tease this spring break! There were many trips taken to beaches around the United States! Gulf Shores, Alabama, Rosemary Beach, Florida, Miami, Florida, Charleston, South Carolina, and Holden Beach, North Carolina were just a number of destinations for Clemson Alpha Delta Pi’s. Sadly, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our time on campus this semester ended earlier than expected. Our sisters are experiencing the end of their semester at home or in safe social distancing environments. We are all filled with great sadness to not have had the last month of school to spend with our sisters. Our seniors will be greatly missed and we wish them an abundance of luck as they end their time with Clemson and enter their next phase of life. Our members have already shown tremendous strength in response to the tragic events that are happening in the world around us. We will continue to love on our sisters and live for Alpha Delta Pi!

Each of these woman have thoroughly enjoyed their time as an Alpha Delta Pi sister. They plan to continue their duties as an ADPi by serving others and living for each other. Emily Anne Godbold

“I plan to graduate in May 2020 with my B.S. in Economics and B.A. in Women’s Leadership. In August 2020, I plan to graduate with my M.A. in Economics.

After graduation, I plan to work for Deloitte Government and Public Services as a Business Technology Analyst in Washington D.C. I am extremely excited to be a consultant working towards improving technologies and processes for the United States Government.

As a senior with only a couple of months left at Clemson, I am sad to have to leave such an amazing place. Clemson introduced me to my life-long friends, opened doors of opportunity for new experiences, fostered my academic achievements, and created memories I will never forget. I hope to make a positive impact with my role at Deloitte and continue to grow in the future.”

Julia Ann Funk

“As I come to the end of my four years at Clemson, I am not quite ready to leave so I will be continuing my education here with a masters degree in Environmental Engineering with a focus in water and wastewater treatment. I will be serving as a teaching assistant, and working with one of my professors on his research in the lab. I am so thankful to Alpha Delta Pi and all of the girls who have impacted me in my time at Clemson. I cannot imagine this experience without them. We will always live for each other.”

Sam Nash

“After graduation I am moving to Charlotte, North Carolina to work for Beacon Hill Staffing. We're one of the world’s largest and most influential providers of talent acquisition, workforce consulting, staffing solutions, and executive search services. I will be a staffing consultant and will be recruiting in the technological field! I’m excited to get started and see what's ahead in the future!”

Bailey Allen

“After graduation in May, I will be attending Physician Assistant school at East Carolina University. It’s a 27-month program where I will be learning the ‘ins and outs’ of medicine for 15 months and then in clinical for 12 months! When I finish school I would like to get a job in Dermatology and pursue my passion for cosmetics and aesthetics.

I am not sure where I will get a job after school but I am excited for all the opportunities in my future!”

Joanna Lilly

“After graduation I will be moving to New York City where I will be working as a financial analyst at the corporate headquarters of L’Oréal USA! The first two years of my position are rotational so I will be switching between brand, operations, and corporate finance.
This past summer, I interned at L’Oréal for the skincare brand Kiehl’s and that is where I first realized how interesting and complex the beauty industry is. I am so excited to be able to continue learning about the industry and developing my finance skills at such an awesome company!”

Bridgett Hicks

“I am moving to Nashville, TN in June! After a long interview process and lots of praying, I am beyond grateful to have been chosen as one of the 25 people across the country for the Associate Account Executive Program at Effectv, a Comcast Company. I am so excited to jumpstart my media sales career not only with a great company with so much opportunity for growth, but also in a new city. The program gives recent grads and aspiring sales professionals the opportunity to learn the skills and behaviors needed to succeed in the advertising industry, while gaining experience working alongside coaches, mentors and sellers on real-life projects. I will also be given the chance to travel for training to three other cities with the other 24 people in the program. As sad as I am to soon be leaving Clemson, I am so excited about moving to Nashville this June!”

“I will be moving to Dallas to work for Accenture as a Technical Platform Analyst! In this role, I will be working to create and deliver solutions for clients’ business problems through technology. I am so excited to join the team and help Accenture impact companies around the world.”

“After graduation I am moving to Atlanta and working for TRUIST in Private Wealth Management. I am going to be doing a rotation program for two years moving around from Miami, Charlotte, and Atlanta!”

Shining Sisters Week Thirteen

“Clemson has always held a very special place in my heart. I grew up attending Clemson football games and when I was little, I always (I mean always) wore my Clemson cheerleader uniform. So, when applying to colleges, Clemson was definitely on my radar. My mom told me that she wanted me to take an official tour of Clemson to see the campus. I thought she was crazy because I grew up going to Clemson and did not feel like a tour was necessary. But it was not until the tour that I truly saw with my own eyes how special it would be to be a student at Clemson University. I remember walking around the campus and observing the students dressed in orange, smiling, and enjoying themselves. It was then that I truly knew that Clemson was home and was where I wanted to be for the next four years of college.

Since coming to Clemson, I have loved being involved in the ClemsonLife Program, which is a program for young adults with intellectual disabilities. Through the ClemsonLife Program, I have been able to be a dinner peer once a week on Thursday nights. I have also been able to attend football watch parties and participate in game nights. The ClemsonLife Program has allowed me to express the love I have for special needs individuals. The ClemsonLife students have loved me in so many ways and have strengthened my belief in the importance of loving others no matter their ability.

ADPi has greatly influenced my experience at Clemson. I went through Recruitment this past year as a sophomore (August 2019), and was originally very nervous about the whole process. As a sophomore, I did not know what to expect and also knew that there would not be as many girls my age Recruitment. But, on the first day of Recruitment, I went in with a positive attitude and remembered being particularly drawn to the girls in ADPi. With each round, ADPi stood out more and more. Every girl I talked to was genuine and wanted to get to know me and what I was passionate about. I could also tell that there were girls in ADPi that considered faith to be important to them and this was something I was very drawn to. I knew that if I joined ADPi, I could lean on my sisters to support me, listen to me, and pray for me – and all of this is true. Ever since I joined ADPi, I have been blessed in so many ways. ADPi has provided me with a community of strong women who push me to be the best version of myself. I know that all of the friendships I have in ADPi will last far beyond college.

Best Clemson Memory?
“Being downtown for the 2018 National Championship game was my favorite Clemson memory. I loved being surrounded by thousands of other Clemson students and fans and cheering on the Tigers to a 28 (yes 28) point win over Alabama! It was also a special memory for me because my dad remembered cheering on the Tigers in the 1981 National Championship game when he was a Clemson student, so we got to share this special moment together.”

“Clemson was the last place I toured and honestly I never thought about going there until I visited! My story is unique because I grew up swimming all my life and until junior year there wasn't a doubt in my mind that I was going to swim in college. I toured lots of colleges and got to see a lot of really cool places but when I got to Clemson I just felt at home. One thing I thought was super cool was that whenever I told people that I was from Auburn, they were like “oh Clemson is Auburn with a lake!” I love football, especially now. I love Clemson football and I think that's another thing that really affirmed my feelings about Clemson. Everyone here was so genuine, happy, and had a lot of passion about their school. I appreciate Clemson so much and I know that I made the right decision. I can't wait to bring my family here someday!

My favorite extracurricular involvement is volunteering with Anderson PAWS. I love volunteering with Anderson PAWS because I get to go play with the dogs and puppies. It makes me so so happy because I miss my doggies from home so much! Also, several times I have adopted a dog for the day and gotten to love on them and let them have fun.

My best Clemson memory is watching the National Championship in 2019 on the big screen downtown and getting to see all of the school spirit that Clemson has. Also, getting my scrubs and equipment for nursing and beginning our time learning hands on in the lab was another memory I will never forget.

My favorite sorority memory was Family Weekend this year getting to bring my family to Clemson and introduce them to my friend’s families. Also, the next morning my friends and I all had brunch in the utility room on the hall before a home football game.

Joining ADPi has impacted my Clemson career in many ways because I have met so many amazing older girls who have given me a ton of advice in Nursing. Also, I am involved in SNA (Student Nursing Association) which has given me an abundance of great connections and resources.

My goals for this semester include achieving a 4.0 and spending time growing closer with friends. My goals for my future include finding a job in Charleston, Savannah, or Birmingham and working in the NICU, Labor and Delivery, or the ER.” - Hadley Dowdle, AC ‘18

“I chose Clemson because I fell in love with the school when I toured for the first time! I honestly had never heard of Clemson until I met with my college guidance counselor. She thought I should tour to see if I liked it. I had my heart set on going to University of Tennessee in Knoxville but at the same time I felt like I wanted to take a risk. As soon as I stepped on Clemson’s campus for the first time I fell in love! I felt so much warmth and love from the close-knit community of Clemson. Everyone on the tour was so nice and helpful; I felt right at home. I could tell how much people loved being students here and I wanted to be able to love my college the same way. I was nervous moving away from Tennessee, but the transition was so much easier than I thought, and Clemson slowly became my home away from home. I am so thankful that I stepped out of my comfort zone and took a leap of faith to come to Clemson!

Clemson has given me so many opportunities for involvement around campus! Clemson FCA, Student Nurses Association, and Order of Omega are some of the organizations that have shaped my Clemson experience. But a smaller activity that has been exciting and that I have enjoyed so much as a student at Clemson has been intramural sports! I am very competitive and love some friendly competition in a low-stress environment. I have gotten to play flag football on the ADPi team, and I currently play basketball with my nursing friends! It’s so much fun to be a part of a team and be able to play and laugh together. Sports are such a good way to destress from the week!

One of the best sorority memories I have made is Mallard Ball this year! Mallard is my favorite function because it's wacky, everyone puts on their best camo attire, and we all take a bus to a cool venue! We had a blast dancing to the live band this year. I remember me and my friends were the LAST people to leave because we were having such a great time. The band was packing up and was ready to leave, but we convinced them to play one more song for us!

One of the greatest things that ADPi gave me was the opportunity to serve as the Director of Philanthropy. I feel like I gained a lot of leadership experience and it taught me how to work well and communicate with others! Our philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House Charities, holds a special place in my heart and I am so thankful I got the opportunity to help raise money to support such an amazing organization. The best part about working with a local organization is that we get to see first-hand the impact we have on RMH and the people staying there! I learned so many skills as the Director of Philanthropy that I can take into my career with me.

For this semester, my goal is to make the most out of each day and do something fun every day! Right now, my main goal is to graduate from Clemson's Nursing school! Eventually, I would like to go back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner, but I want to work on the floor for a few years first before I go back to school. I could also see myself going back to school to become a CRNA (certified registered nurse anesthetist). I hope to keep volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House in the future and I hope to keep traveling and seeing new places and trying new things!” - Ella Marie Melton, AC ‘17
