Hey PNMs! Why ADPi #5!

✰Marywhit Blakeney’s Spotlight + Why ADPi!✰

“It was very evident that these girls loved serving their chapter, were driven in the classroom, + had so much fun together! And that has been what ADPi has been for me since the beginning.”

“Hi PNMs! I am just so excited to get to meet all of you in August!!! Along with being a senior in Alpha Class ‘18, I am an Elementary Education major from Charleston, SC, who has the biggest love for this University + each sister in Zeta Nu! Recruitment was both an exciting + intimidating experience, but ADPi is what made me realize I was truly home! It is thanks to the girls in this chapter that have shaped me, sought my heart, + helped me grow throughout my time at Clemson! Get ready for one of the best experiences that will introduce you to your people forever!

Even with having an idea about what recruitment would be + do for me, I was + still am so blessed for the sisterhood that I found during rounds in ADPi. It was a place where I felt comfortable to be myself, surrounded by girls that would support + encourage me to become my best self during my time at Clemson. It was very evident that these girls loved serving their chapter, were driven in the classroom, + had so much fun together! And that has been what ADPi has been for me since the beginning. It has given me endless opportunities to lead, serve, + love my friends, chapter, + university.

Specifically, the opportunity to serve on our Executive Committee as the Vice President of Member Development has been such an eye-opening opportunity that has allowed me to appreciate ADPi + this sisterhood so much more! It was during my time as an Alpha that I wanted to one day lead in this role, which my friends have supported me in doing from the start. I have been able to serve my chapter but also have had the wonderful chance for my chapter to serve me + encourage me to be my best self. Without finding these girls in ADPi during my recruitment as a PNM, I wouldn’t be where I am today. For that, I will always be thankful that I found my home in Alpha Delta Pi.”
