Our Graduates
As the semester comes to an end, Zeta Nu wanted to congratulate 10 beautiful graduates within our chapter. These hard-working ladies have represented Clemson University and Alpha Delta Pi SO well. We are so proud and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for each of them!
Molly Yost
“Wow! I cannot believe my 3.5 years at Clemson has come to an end. Joining ADPi has meant joining a group of strong and compassionate women who have pushed me to grow into the independent woman that I am today. I am very thankful to ADPi for not only my beautiful friends, but also for the community it gave me. My favorite ADPi memory was ClemsonLIFE Bid Day as this was when our wonderful ClemsonLIFE member, Grace, came into my life! I am very proud to be a part of a sorority that always strives for inclusiveness. I will always hold the people I met in ADPi, especially my Diamond Family, close to my heart as I step into the next chapter of my life. I feel incredibly blessed to say that I will be continuing my journey in Durham, NC as I have accepted a job at Duke University Hospital as an oncology nurse. I am so excited for this next chapter in my life and I can’t wait to see what it holds for me! All the Pi love, Molly.” -Molly Yost, AC ‘17
Rebekah Lannamann
“In February I will be moving to Charlotte where I will be starting as a nurse resident on the ICU floor at Novant Hospital. For one year, I will rotate through their four different ICUs before deciding on which one I would like to work on. Throughout college, ADPi's sisterhood has meant so much to me. It means always having a friend in your classes, someone to study with, and a sister to support you in all your endeavors. My favorite ADPi memory is the Mallard Ball last year. I had so much fun dancing and being surrounded by all my friends!!” -Rebekah Lannamann, AC ‘17
Jane Janick
“When I think of my favorite ADPi memories, I think of my forever friend Delaney who grew up with me from freshman year to her bridal party, the most encouraging friend Julia who I can talk to for hours on end, my sweet, full-of-life little Kiely, my NYC summer roommate and best influence Emory, my crazy friend Hannah who agreed to road trip to Nola with me and 10 boys... the list goes on. Sisterhood has shown itself through many memories and friendships I will forever hold close to my heart. As far as looking toward the future, I’m hung up chasing a dream I’ve had since I was a little girl. After spending my summers as a Buying Intern for American Eagle and then QVC, I’m currently interviewing with a few brands in hopes of being a real life Assistant Buyer. To all my sisters, you can literally do anything, I promise. What a blessing this incredible chapter has been. Diamonds are forever my ladies.” -Jane Janick, AC ‘17
Katie Blackwood
“I will always cherish my time in Zeta Nu. From being an Alpha to a Pi, this sisterhood is like no other. When running down Bowman in 2017, each sister I met embraced me with open arms. We all push each other to be our very best. I knew I could always call on any one of my sisters if I needed help in any way. My favorite ADPi memory would have to be serving with our 2020 Executive Committee. We all faced many challenges during our term, but each one of us adapted to any obstacle or change with so much grace and compassion for our chapter. From a virtual Recruitment to a virtual Initiation, I will forever hold on to these memories from our weekly Wednesday gatherings. Following graduation, I will still remain in the Clemson area for the Spring semester. I will continue teaching fitness classes at the YMCA in Seneca as well as tutoring for the Clemson athletes. In the fall of 2021, I plan to attend graduate school to pursue a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. While I do not hear back from any schools until mid-March, I am positive that the Lord will place me exactly where I need to be. I look forward to working, serving, and specializing in Dysphagia in both the hospital and nursing home!” -Katie Blackwood, AC ‘17
Emily Bryant
“Hey again! My name is Emily Bryant! I am a senior here at Clemson in Alpha Delta Pi and I (sadly) will be graduating at the end December. I would stay for another 4 years if they would let me! Coming to Clemson from out of state was easily the hardest, yet best decision of my life. Like it is for everyone, Freshman year was a huge transition period, but ADPi truly made the change much easier by providing me with the sweetest and most supportive group of friends. Since running down Bowman to ADPi in 2017, I have made countless memories with the same girls that were beside me that day and have had so many opportunities that wouldn’t be possible without ADPi. Knowing that this semester would be my last, I made the conscious effort to take time each day to reflect on my three and a half years here and soak in all of my “lasts”. Doing this made me realize just how much of an impact ADPi and its members have had on my college experience and on my life. Whether I needed someone to celebrate with, a shoulder to cry on, or anything in between, I knew I had multiple girls just one call away ready to be there for me in whatever way I needed. I have had the best times of my life with my ADPi sisters and I wouldn’t change a thing for the world. This sorority has brought me the best of friends that I know will be by my side through every milestone of life. In February, I will be moving to Nashville, Tennessee to work as a RN at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. I am so excited for this opportunity and to finally make my dreams of being a nurse come true. I can’t wait to be in Nashville, but I am also already counting down the days until I am back visiting my girls in Clemson. I cannot put into words how thankful I am for Clemson Alpha Delta Pi and all the joy it has given me throughout my time here!” -Emily Bryant, AC, ‘17
Emily Lynch
“Hey y'all, I'm Emily! I have just graduated from Clemson with a Bachelor's of Science in Animal and Veterinary Sciences and a minor in Biological Sciences. I have applied to several veterinary schools in hopes of attending one next fall. In the meantime, I will be working for Martin Veterinary Services, a mixed animal veterinary practice based out of Williamston, SC. I am so excited to be able to stay in the Clemson area while I continue to work hands-on with a variety of animals including dogs, cats, cows, horses, goats, and the occasional raccoon. I went through Recruitment my Sophomore year at Clemson and joining ADPi was one of the best things to ever happen to me. I was able to meet a great group of women and be surrounded by people who pushed me to be the best version of myself. I am forever grateful to Zeta Nu for the friendships and opportunities it has brought me. The people are my favorite memory and I will cherish the time spent with all my sisters. I am ever loyal to this college and these women. Go Tigers!” -Emily Lynch, AC ‘18
Hannah Joye
“My name is Hannah Joye, and I am graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Clemson. I cannot believe how quickly graduation came. Growing up, I was always told that college would be the best 4 years of my life, and, without a doubt, that has been true for me. I have been challenged and encouraged to become the best version of myself over the last 3.5 years, and that is largely in part to the support from the Zeta Nu chapter of Alpha Delta Pi. From the very beginning as a freshman, I was surrounded by women who had the same passion for achievement and growth as myself. ADPi has provided me with the best friends and community I could have ever imagined, and I will even have sisters standing next to me on my wedding day next summer. My favorite ADPi memory would have to be Mallard Ball just this past November. Mallard is special because it is unique to our chapter, but this year with everything looking different, putting on the camo overalls one last time was a gift, and I will treasure that night forever. I am so grateful for the countless memories that ADPi has provided, and I truly cannot imagine my college experience without this group of women. Beginning in the new year, I will be moving to Charlotte, North Carolina to begin a career in Labor and Delivery nursing. I am looking forward to the life change ahead, but Clemson and Zeta Nu will always be home.” Hannah Joye, AC ‘17
Nan Spacek
“My name is Nan Spacek and I am graduating from Clemson with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduation, I plan to start a nursing job at Vanderbilt Health in Nashville, TN. I am so grateful to Alpha Delta Pi for the amazing group of girls it has given me. This organization has supported me, loved me, and pushed me so much over my time here at Clemson. Trying to pick a favorite memory from these past four years almost seems impossible, but I think one of the sweetest moments I’ve had was this year's Mallard Ball while dancing with all my friends, singing at the top of our lungs to the song 'Live Like You Were Dying.' I think it was probably the happiest I've been, but somehow there wasn't a dry eye in the whole group. Saying goodbye to my time here at Clemson is made especially hard knowing I am also saying goodbye to this organization. Thank you Alpha Delta Pi for giving me something that I know I will cherish forever.” -Nan Spacek, AC ‘17
Ella Marie Melton
“Hi! My name is Ella Marie Melton and I will be graduating this December with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing! I am so excited to be heading back to Tennessee after I graduate! I have accepted a job at Vanderbilt Medical Center in their Nurse Residency Program in Nashville, Tennessee on the Adult Acute floor. I am thrilled to learn and grow my nursing skills through this program, and I cannot wait to meet new people and care for my patients. There are truly not enough words to describe how much Clemson ADPi has meant to me these past four years. ADPi has given me so many opportunities for leadership and has provided me with confidence to be bold and try new things. Through ADPi, I have had the chance to serve others and give back to my community. I am beyond thankful for ADPi for giving me lifelong best friends, fun memories, and opportunities for leadership and service to others. I am so ready to start my new journey thanks to the love and support I have experienced from Clemson ADPi. One of my very favorite ADPi memories is from Mallard Ball my Junior year. My friends stayed the entire time at Sleepy Hollow dancing and having a good time! We were having so much fun that when the band started packing up for the night, we begged them to play one more song just for us and they did! This is just one of my favorite memories that I will never forget and cherish for a lifetime.” -Ella Marie Melton, AC ‘17
Abigail Cox
“I can’t believe graduation came so fast! This December I will begin a full time position as an Operations Coordinator at a logistics company in Greenville. I’m so thankful for my time at Clemson and my sisters in ADPi who have supported me, loved me, and become my family away from home. As cheesy as it may be, I’ll never forget running down Bowman on Bid Day and the pure joy of joining the very best sisterhood. We really do live for each other.” -Abigail Cox, AC ‘17
