Why ADPi #4!

Hey loves! My name is Eden Williams and I’m a sophomore from Milton, Georgia. I’ve had the blessing of being part of ADPi for almost a year now, and I could not be more thankful for the impact that these sweet girls have had on me already! Although the thought of going through recruitment seemed nerve-racking at first, it ended up being one of the most exciting weeks of my life, and I have the girls in this chapter to thank for it. From the moment I walked into the room, they made me feel welcomed, appreciated, and understood, and it was easy for me to see that ADPi was meant to be my home!

After spending just a little bit of time with this chapter, I can confidently say that ADPi is made up of intentional, genuine, and uplifting girls who consistently support you throughout all the ups and downs of college and beyond. Between girls’ nights, Greenville brunches, and lake days, we’ve had the best time getting to know each other while making memories at Clemson. The friendships I’ve found here have been fundamental in making my first year of college so special, and I cannot wait for what’s in store!

I’m so proud to be surrounded by such a driven and compassionate group of people. I’ll forever be grateful for the way this chapter has loved me and helped me grow throughout the past year, and I can’t wait for more girls to get to experience this sisterhood the way I have. Go Greek and go ADPi! You won’t regret it!

Why ADPi #2!

Hey y’all! My name is Megan Rosen and I am a sophomore from Fort Worth, Texas! While going through recruitment I knew I was looking for a chapter that embodied the values of love and kindness, and would allow me to create bonds that would last a lifetime. Not knowing anyone when I stepped foot on the Clemson campus was fearful in itself, but when I stepped into Alpha Delta Pi during recruitment, I found girls that welcomed me with open arms. These girls showed what it was to be genuine and kind. I found friends that quickly became sisters. These girls gave me comfort and support during the adjustments of freshman year and were people to grow with and hold each other accountable. 

Growing up playing competitive sports all of my life, I always had a group of girls that had my back and could help me grow in my weaknesses. Now, I am so lucky to have sisters that I can laugh with for hours, travel the world with, and even work through hard days with. I am so grateful that ADPi has welcomed me from the start and has provided the beginning of such fruitful friendships!

Why ADPi #1!

Hey everyone, I’m Abby Owens (a member of AC ‘22)! While I’ve only been in ADPi for a little under a year now, the impact it has already had on me is tremendous. It’s hard to put into words what ADPi has meant and still means to me. 

Going through recruitment, I knew it was so important for me to find a group of girls who embodied all of the things that I value and hold so close to my heart. I was looking to surround myself with girls who were genuine, selfless, and encouraging, girls who would hold me to the highest standard as a student and a person, girls who were involved, and girls who accepted me for me. It was so evident from day 1 of recruitment that all of the girls in ADPi reflected all of these things. I felt so valued, appreciated, and invested in, and I still feel this way today. 

I vividly remember that once I became a member of ADPi, our President sat the new members down and told us that what we put in to ADPi is what we will get out. I took her words seriously, dove right in, and gave it my all. From joining the ADPi dance team, serving at the Ronald McDonald House, and becoming an officer, I jumped at every opportunity thrown my way. Through these experiences and so many more, I have grown as a person, been poured into by so many older girls, and found my absolute best friends. 

The sisterhood in ADPi is so strong and is something that I am so blessed to be able to experience for the rest of my life. These girls are my sources of laughter, shoulders to cry on, listening ears, advice givers, walking buddies, and of course Spill the Beans dates! From getting ready for functions together to visiting each others hometowns, we do it all! 

I know that I am a better person today than I was yesterday because of Zeta Nu. These girls fill my cup in more ways than one, and I am so grateful. I can’t imagine my college experience without ADPi, and being a member is something that I will never take lightly. Go Greek, and Go ADPi!

One of our main philanthropy events every year is the Jennifer Lauren Farrell Memorial Golf Tournament. Jennifer Farrell was a beloved member of ADPi here at Clemson University. In her memory, the Farrell’s created the Jennifer Lauren Farrell endowment program. We are very proud to announce that this year we have raised over $50k, making it our most successful JLF Golf Tournament to date!
