SNOW DAY!
What better way to come back to our second home with all of our sisters and wake up to 3 inches of snowfall?!? Campus was a playground! To say we loved the snow would be an understatement!!
Winter Break!
All About ADPi Adventures!
Our sisterhood had so much fun traveling over Winter Break with friends and family! We are so excited to share some of our Amazing adventures!
NEW YORK CITY!
“My family and I have always loved New York City but we have never been during Christmas, so this trip was extra special. Being able to spend time with my parents and sister was so amazing and the holiday atmosphere in the city was something I’ll never forget!” — Taylor Grace Scott
ATLANTA, GEORGIA!
“I lack words to describe how incredible Passion 2022 really was. From the speakers to the worship, they did an amazing job of meeting you right where you are in your life and walk with Christ. Experiencing it all with my ADPi sisters made it even more special. We serve the greatest Lord, and I am forever grateful for the reminders of His steadfast love that Passion brought to me. I could not dream of a better way to start 2022 and I am already making plans to attend Passion 2023!” — Payton Bagby
STOWE, VERMONT!
“My family had a very white Christmas this year as we left the warm weather of Charleston, SC and spent the holidays in Stowe, Vermont. There is nothing like spending Christmas day on the slopes and walking around a town that looks like it is the set of a Hallmark movie.” — Kate Appeli
ORLANDO, FLORIDA!
“I traveled to Orlando for a good chunk of my break to cheer on the Tigers in our bowl game! It was super special because it was my last game cheering on the Tigers since I graduate in May, and we left Orlando with a win!!” — Malia Andres

Homecoming 2021
Homecoming is such a special week for not only the sisters of Alpha Delta Pi, but the Clemson University campus as a whole. This week celebrates everyone and everything that makes up the place we call home. This year, our homecoming chairs, Mary Ellis O’Cain and Gracie Gaitlin, have presented and created so many ways for our chapter to be involved throughout this memorable week. Our sisters are involved in many activities and events across campus this week and we wanted to highlight their abundant love for Clemson University! We are so proud of each and everyone of them and we cannot wait to see all of their hard work displayed across campus! We are so thankful to call Clemson University home.
Hannah Laura Jordan
“My name is Hannah Laura Jordan and I am a senior in Alpha Class 18. I am a senior Environmental and Natural Resource Major from Spartanburg South Carolina! I have the pleasure of representing Alpha Delta Pi in the Miss Homecoming Pageant this year. I have also served the chapter as our Homecoming Chair in the past and gotten the opportunity to watch the float built from the ground up. My love for Clemson tradition grew that week tenfold as I watched each member of our organizations put their heart and soul into the float. Now, as a senior, I get to watch others within ADPi participate in this same float building tradition and see Homecoming from a different side! I am looking forward to the pageant and cheering on my fellow sisters on stage, but know that I'll be heading back to the field to pomp right after:)”
-Hannah Laura Jordan, AC ‘18
Marywhit Blakeney
"Hi! I am Marywhit Blakeney, a senior Elementary Education major from Charleston, SC in AC '18! This year I have the honor of serving as the representative for the IPTAY Student Advisory Board in Clemson's 2021 Miss Homecoming Pageant! I am so excited for such a fun opportunity! Getting to represent ISAB as Vice President + now on stage during Homecoming week is a little dream that I have gotten to be in! For the past 3 years, I have had the chance to be on ISAB and serve as a liaison between the student body and IPTAY. This has been an opportunity that has helped me make so many connections across Clemson's campus. It's even better getting to be in the pageant with my ZN sisters to also represent this amazing group of women! As a member of the Executive Committee, this is just another way I get to lead my chapter at the University - and what a blessing it has been."
-Marywhit Blakeney, AC ‘18

Sarah Traurig
“Hi everyone! My name is Sarah Traurig and I am a senior from Atlanta, Georgia! As a fourth generation Tiger, I have been fortunate enough to experience the special traditions that come along with Clemson's Homecoming Week for as long as I can remember. However, it was not until I became a student that I realized the true meaning and importance of Homecoming at Clemson. I joined Clemson Undergraduate Student Government's Activities Committee my sophomore year and have been a member ever since. During homecoming week, Activities is in charge of executing the Miss Homecoming Pageant and Tiger Rag Shag, a school wide homecoming dance. This year, I have the incredible opportunity to be in the Miss Homecoming Pageant representing one of my most favorite organizations, Student Alumni Council. What this week does is make you feel like you are a part of something much bigger than yourself and I am honored to be able to experience it in a different light for my last year at Clemson. I absolutely can not wait to see Tiger fans from all over the states and be able to say "Welcome Home." <3”
-Sarah Tauring, AC ‘18
Caroline Daw
“Hey y’all! My name is Caroline Daw and I am representing YoungLife, a Christ-centered ministry that helps kids know Jesus, grow in their faith, and serve Him by meeting them where they are, and making that a lot of fun! I am a senior Mathematical Sciences major, with a concentration in Biology, from Jacksonville, Florida. (Go Jags!) I am a student of the Clemson Honors College and a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, Alpha Class 2019. As a senior, my involvement as the team leader of her YoungLife team at Daniel High School, which means that I am the leader, advocate, and encourager of 8 college students. I have so enjoyed spending time with my fellow Miss Homecoming contestants, especially my ADPi sisters! This has been an awesome experience, and it shows me that you can always love Clemson more, even if you’re about to graduate!”
-Caroline Daw, AC ‘19
Jade Tapscott
“Happy Homecoming!! My name is Jade Tapscott and I am a junior in Alpha Class ‘19 from Springfield, Illinois. For Homecoming this year, I am serving as the Marketing Director for Tigerama 65 - Home Sweet Home. Tigerama is the second largest student-run pep rally in the country and it is an absolute blast to be a part of! This year, the event will be held in Death Valley and feature skits from the football team, Rally Cats, and other student organizations. There will also be a performance by country singer Frankie Ballard followed by a fireworks show -- how exciting! As the Marketing Director for this Homecoming festivity, I have overseen the team responsible for all promotional materials from social media accounts to the flyers and banners seen around campus. We were also responsible for coordinating all of the great deals purchasing a Tigerama ticket can get you in downtown Clemson. This event is something you will not want to miss, so come join us this Friday, October 2 at 7:00pm. Tickets can be purchased on the cutigerama website!”
-Jade Tapscott, AC ‘19

Hey PNMs! Why ADPi #7!
✰Olivia Jaramillo’s Spotlight + “Why ADPi”✰
Olivia Jaramillo, AC ‘19
Olivia Jaramillo - Alpha Class ‘19
Director of Primary Recruitment
“HEY! My name is Olivia Jaramillo; most people call me Via! I am a junior Women’s Studies major with a minor in Sociology from Damascus, Maryland. I am in Alpha Class ‘19. Recruitment was such a memorable experience for me for all the right reasons. Coming from out of state, I didn’t know anyone, but I was eager to get involved on campus. Going through the process, I made so many friendships with girls I'm still close with today, all across the Panhellenic community. ADPi held such a special place in my heart because my Mom was one at NC State. Zeta Nu exceeded all expectations and blew me away every round! I am proud to say it was even better after joining the chapter.
Recruitment can be very overwhelming, and I remember being such a nervous wreck! I looked forward to seeing ADPi each round because everyone made me feel so special, and they were genuinely interested in who I was; it calmed all my nerves. As long as you stay true to who you are, you will end up exactly where you belong. Recruitment was so rewarding that I wanted other girls to have the same experience, and I am honored to be the Director of Primary Recruitment this year. Reflecting on my time in ADPi has opened so many doors for me to give back to the community and this chapter. I have found the most genuine girls who will celebrate every aspect of life with me. My support system is unmatched, and I couldn’t imagine my college experience without my sisters.
My best advice to PNMs is to go into Recruitment with an open mind, ask hard questions, follow your gut, and trust the process! We are so excited to meet all of you. Remember, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will impact you forever! Sending all of you all the Pi love<3”
-Olivia Jaramillo, AC ‘19
