“Zeta Nu! What a year it has been. I remember the beginning of the 2020 term like it was yesterday. Reflecting on this year leaves me filled with gratitude despite the uncertainties of 2020. Even though things didn’t go as we had planned, I find contentment and joy knowing that everything happened perfectly according to God’s plan.

To my incredible Exec — Thank you for your dedication, your strength, and your unwavering trust in me and in our chapter women. Your service to ZN, our Panhellenic community, and to Clemson as a whole will forever leave a legacy that you should be so very proud of.

To my officers — Thank you for your creativity and willingness to problem solve in order to provide opportunities for our chapter women to connect with each other in the midst of this pandemic. You accomplished so much and truly made the most out of your roles.

To my sisters and best friends — Abigail, Claire, Lauren, Hannah, Sarah, Emily D, Laura, Callie, Audrey, Ella Marie, Mary Kathryn, Caroline, Emily B, Emma Gray, Abby — Thank you for always being there to support me in the best and most difficult times of this year. I hope that every single person on this earth finds a group of friends to do life with who are as intentional, uplifting, and FUN as y’all.

And to my entire Zeta Nu chapter — Thank you for being you. Each and every one of you inspires me by the way you live your life, support one another, and put 110% into whatever you do. I have learned so much more from you than you know, and I am forever changed by the love and grace you have shown this year. Always remember that this sorority and the people within it have the power to transform your life for the better. Keep growing, keep giving, and keep serving our Clemson to the best of your ability. You will never get these years back and you will never regret giving your all to the people and the world around you.

I pray that this chapter continues to be filled with women who are engaged and admired at all times. Leading this year has been the biggest honor and the greatest privilege. I love you ALL and will always believe in you! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!”

“Hi!!! My name is Emily DelSordo and I’m from Hillsborough, New Jersey. I’m a freshman Elementary Education major and I would absolutely love to teach 3rd or 4th graders! When I was trying to decide what school would be my home for the next four years, there was no doubt Clemson was the place for me. Clemson has always been my childhood dream school and my family loves Clemson football so I can’t believe this dream became a reality! I’m really looking forward to getting involved in everything Clemson has to offer including Clemson Hope, ClemsonLIFE, and CUGA. Some of my favorite places to go in Clemson include the South Carolina Botanical Gardens, the Dikes at Lake Hartwell, and of course, Death Valley. I love game days, nature walks, the beach, hanging with my family & friends, and ice cream (especially Spill the Beans!!) This semester has been the best three months of my life and I’m so excited to come back in the spring. I’ve met some of the best people through ADPi and I can’t wait to make more memories and lifelong friendships with my sisters! Go Tigers!!!” -Emily DelSordo, AC ‘20

Canton Moehler, AC ‘20

“Hey everyone! My name is Canton Moehler and I am a sophomore from Atlanta, Georgia majoring in Psychology! When applying for college, I really wanted to look for a school where I would feel welcomed with open arms and free to be myself. Clemson really caught my eye because of the family atmosphere, good academics, Greek life, and, of course, the football!! I wanted to try something new and adventure out of my comfort zone, and Clemson was just the place for me! Since then, I have loved being a Tiger and a part of such an amazing community, especially becoming a sister of ADPi! It has been such a cool and special experience meeting girls from all over and joining something bigger than myself! I absolutely love spending time with friends, whether that's on Monday nights at YoungLife club with TL Hanna students, going on hikes (or anything else to keep me active and up on my feet), a Bachelorette night in with the girls, or a fun night out on the town in Greenville/Atlanta! I am forever grateful for Clemson and ADPi, and I can’t wait to see where the rest of my time here in Tiger Town will take me!” -Canton Moehler, AC ‘20

Erin Hoover, AC ‘20

“Hey guys! My name is Erin Hoover, and I am from Atlanta, Georgia. I am a freshman studying Pre-Professional Health Science on the Pre-Med track with an intended minor in Psychology. I hope to pursue my goal of becoming a Physician’s Assistant or Occupational Therapist. Clemson first caught my eye when I was in middle school as my two cousins and brother decided to attend Clemson University. When I visited a Clemson football game, I instantly knew this is where I wanted to go to college. The orange and purple were everywhere I went and I loved it! The vast school spirit is what sparked my love for the university. As I continued to visit the campus throughout my senior year of high school, I continually noticed the “Clemson Family'' that is always talked about throughout the Clemson community. From the beginning, I knew that Clemson was and would be a special place to me, and that did not change after my first semester here. I feel that I have already made lifelong friends through Alpha Delta Pi, and I have fulfilled my dream to be a Clemson Cheerleader on the All-Girl team. I love spending my Saturdays on (or as close to) the sidelines and cheering on the best football team in the country! Along with cheering, I love to go on runs, spend time with my friends and family, travel to any beach or lake, play tennis, and go to concerts. I am extremely grateful to be a part of ADPi’s sisterhood because I have met the most genuine, caring, and selfless girls. I cannot wait for three and a half more years with them! Boom Boom and GO TIGERS!!” -Erin Hoover, AC ‘20

“Hey y'all!! My name is Sarah Beth Holloway, and I am a sophomore from Augusta, Georgia. I am a Secondary Education and English major with dreams of teaching high school English at a Title 1 school. Being a student at Clemson has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I knew that there was something different about Clemson. My favorite part of the year was always football season when my family would pack up and head to Clemson for the weekend. This season was the 19th season that I have spent in Death Valley, making it one of my favorite places in the world! Clemson has always felt like home to me. Getting my acceptance letter was one of the best days of my life. Last year I was a part of the Bridge to Clemson program and was able to get involved in Young Life and meet some of my very best friends! This August I was placed as a Young Life leader at Seneca High School! Go Cats! Coming into college, I always knew that being in a sorority was something that I wanted to be a part of. My mom was an ADPi at Clemson and growing up she would tell me about the sweet memories she made with her sisters. When I was going through recruitment, ADPi felt like home because the girls that I talked to reminded of my mom- caring, compassionate, fun, and loyal. Going ADPi was that much sweeter because not only did I get to be a part of an amazing group of women, but also because I got to share something really special with my mom! Being a part of ADPi is one of the best things that has happened to me. I am so thankful for the friendships I have made and the way ADPI has pushed me to be the best person I can be. Getting to do life and learn from girls like Caroline Daw, Charlotte Anne Beers, Avery Anderson, Rebecca Lannamen, and so many more has been one of the biggest blessings of life this far! I look forward to the memories I will continue to make during my time here at Clemson. I am so thankful to be a part of AC ‘20! Go Tigers! Go ADPi!!” -Sarah Beth Holloway, AC ‘20

I grew up attending South Carolina football games and never thought I’d end up being a student at Clemson, but now that I’ve been here for three months, I truly cannot imagine myself anywhere else. To me, Clemson is more than just buildings and loads of orange and purple. Clemson is where the colors of the fall leaves are a little more vibrant. It’s a place where strangers pass you on the sidewalk, smiling from ear to ear. Clemson is a place for new beginnings, and it continues to blow me away everyday. The past few months have allowed me to tap back into areas of my life that I’m passionate about, and I’ve been learning that creativity and imagination blossoms if we just allow it to. Music and art are ways that I’ve been able to express myself when words simply can’t capture what I’m feeling. I have always had a passion for working with others and helping people in any way that I can. Clemson has an amazing Nursing program, which was a huge part of why I wanted to come to school here. I also love the family-like environment on campus because it makes everyone feel like they are a part of something bigger than themselves. We are all so different, but Clemson has something for everyone! Becoming involved on campus in the Clemson Honors College, ADPi, and Student Nurses’ Association has allowed me to meet so many new people and really get connected to the school! A few of my absolute favorite things are spending quality time with my family and friends, going on trips to new places, and being active. I was a competitive dancer growing up, so I love all types of dance and all types of music. I am so thankful that I got the opportunity to become a member of ADPi because it has already been one of the best experiences. I’ve met so many amazing girls that inspire me to be the best version of myself, and have helped make Clemson feel like home. I can’t wait for what the next four years hold!” - McCullough Dawsey, AC ‘20

“Hi! I am Haley Farmer and I am from Spartanburg, SC! I am a sophomore Biological Sciences major on the Pre-Med track, hoping to become a Physician Assistant one day (fingers crossed!!!). I chose to come to Clemson because I have been a tiger fan my entire life and this was my dream school for as long as I could remember, so once I received my acceptance letter the decision was easy! Here at Clemson I am part of the Allies for Healthcare Adversity club, along with Paws for PA. You can typically find me enjoying some Mexican food or a Cookout milkshake, listening to any and all genres of music, working out, cheering on my favorite sport teams, hanging out with my friends and roomies, and studying at a local coffee shop! I can’t wait to see what ADPi and the rest of this school year has in store for me and others!” - Haley Farmer, AC ‘20

“Hi everyone! My name is Riley Lovelace and I’m from Greenville, South Carolina. I’m a Biological Sciences major on a Pre-Medicine track. Since Greenville is quite close to Clemson, I have been fortunate to enjoy the Clemson atmosphere with friends, family, and even teammates! Clemson has always been my choice because it has already felt like a second home for so long. Clemson has been everything I’d hoped it would be; I’m able to visit family regularly, cheer on my favorite team every game day, and go to the lake with friends! My hobbies include shopping, painting, traveling, working out, making memories with friends, and having my daily coffee (well, more than once a day). I plan on studying abroad over one of my summers, so I would love to hear any recommendations and fun stories! I hope to become more involved on campus by tutoring and joining a photography club, as I’d love to learn more about photography to enhance my travel experiences. I am so thankful to be a part of ADPi as I’ve already been able to meet so many genuine and kind girls, and I can’t wait to meet the rest of my pledge class and chapter members!” - Riley Lovelace, AC ‘20

“Hi everyone! My name is Ava Nicole Randall! I’m from Greenville, South Carolina! My major is Criminal Justice and I hope to pursue a career in law someday. I basically grew up around all things Clemson, so when I got accepted it was a no brainer. My brother attended this amazing school and he showed me exactly what it means to be a tiger. I am so thankful to now be one! Some of my favorite activities include pageants, traveling, snowboarding, trying new foods, and just adventuring in general! In March, I will be taking the title of Miss Upstate Teen USA 2021 to the Miss South Carolina Teen USA pageant and I could not be more excited! Wish me luck;) A few fun facts about me are: I have been to Iceland and I can play the drums! I cannot wait to continue to meet new people, get more involved, and grow during my time at Clemson. This year has been the year of the unknown, but what I do know is that I love my school and I love my ADPi family!” - Ava Randall, AC ‘20

“Hi! My name is Riley Stotzky. I’m from Long Island, New York. I’m majoring in Political Science and considering double majoring in Mathematics. During the college process, the more I looked into Clemson, the more I loved it. I fell in love with the school pride, beautiful location, and the very real Clemson family. I’m so thankful to have the chance to go to this amazing school. I’m currently a National Scholar at Clemson and a member of the Clemson Honors College. I’m also involved with the Club Tennis Team and, of course, Alpha Delta Pi! I can’t wait to get involved with a lot more things at Clemson like UNICEF and the Debate Team. I’m pretty far from home but ADPi and all of the other things I am involved with has made Clemson feel like a home away from home. I can’t wait to meet all of my other sisters and create new and amazing memories! Go Tigers!”- Riley Stotzy, AC ‘20
